Me

Its been a month!

Wow I guess I really left this blog to rot eh? almost a month has passed since my previous update. Probably the longest I've gone without blogging.

As usual I'll blame schoolwork, life's happenings and whatnot for the reason behind the slow update! But actually, its more on schoolwork.

As expected, the final academic semester in my poly life is a literal hell without the screaming people and flames burning everywhere kind of shit. Its more of workload, unreasonable teachers & teammates, there is just so so so so so much to be done in so little time plus life's difficulties....its overwhelming at times, I feel suffocated and tired, especially being a leader. But I keep telling myself,

"Only 10 more weeks, Only 10 more"

"Remember why you entered poly"

In a twisted sort of way, having such a packed semester does help in making this 10 weeks fly like all the other semesters.

But even as all this shit is stirring in the pot, miraculously, I still find time to enjoy and give myself some breathing room before the following week starts.

Celebrated Joe's 21st! Happy Birthday Bro! It was sorta like a mini primary school reunion as well. Its awesome that we still keep in contact after all these years! Had tons of fun!

I pooled cash with Joe to rent a car as well! After sending JX back, I turned on 97.6 fm and drove to the TPE and floored the accelerator. Damn it was a really awesome feeling! Its really useful to own a car and supper spots increase as well as you are able to travel even further where all the great food's at!

My ITE friends recently graduated from their Higher-NITEC course recently and I celebrated the joyous occasion with them by having a traditional last man standing Japanese buffet dinner! My congratulations to all of my pals and I hope you guys work hard in poly as well!

Went Ice Skating at J-cube with the Korean trip pals

With all these happening, I'm also possibly starting a new job soon! with better perks, pay and closer to home.

Well, that's it for now, not really to sure when the next update will be. But stay tuned yeah?

Ciao

Fun amongst the Chaos
Saturday, April 28, 2012 / 1:21 AM

So I just had my first PE session in like 2 years. However unlike the brutal and ridiculously hilarious sports games I participated back in ITE, this PE module was more on fitness. The main aim of this module was to make you pass your NAPFA test! So I did the physical profiling test. As usual standing board jump and pull up fail HAHA. But I really must work hard and pass the test.

Hell, I don't wanna serve an extra two months in the army! I can find better use of that precious time!

But it was fun and extremely tiring though.

Went out to Marina Square with my ITE pals to catch up with them. As all of them have moved on to poly and me being in year 3. Its becoming increasingly difficult to organise meet ups. However, we still do.

We played 6 player bishi bashi! I've played this arcade favorite for years and I don't even know we could do that, nevertheless it was fucking fun and hilarious! Laughed until my sides ached! I really had alot of fun today. Something that will come as a luxury as the weeks roll on by.

The weather has been freaking hot for the past few days! However, the skies were really beautiful. Clear rich blue with very little clouds. I wished I was somewhere in Sentosa basking and chilling in the sun.

Added three new songs to da playa! Enjoy!

Come feel my heart
It's beating like a drum and I confess
When you're around
It's like an army's marching through my chest

And there's nothing I can do
I just gravitate towards you.

1st week
Monday, April 23, 2012 / 12:35 AM

The first week of school! Everything is peaceful actually. Until they start announcing the projects and tests and all that bullshit. Honestly, the first and sometimes, the second week of poly is almost always slack.

Unfortunately for this semester, Its about to unfold.  Every project, test and assignment is going to start flying left and right and the next thing you know, school work has practically taken your soul, and pretty much the majority of your social life away. Year 3 is notorious for these.

I'm not praying for a easy time. I just pray I'll survive this semester. Its gonna be my last academic semester before I move on to my attachment and NYP intends to make it the worst semester of all.

See you on the other side then.

Took a photo of this cat. Rather interesting cat I must say, he just sat there starting into blank space. Lost. It was as though, it was waiting for something, or someone. But eventually, he noticed me and came up to me and stared at me too. I gave it a pat on the head and he was on his way.
